'(Land) below Mill Beck', v. under , cf. Underley (i, 44supra ). Mill Beck (i, 11supra ) is the boundary between Bowness and Windermere and much of the land referred to in the p.n. was in Bowness and Windermere; Undermillbeck included Winster which was a chapelry of Kendal.
