Alauna (lost), the name of the Roman fort at Watercrook (cf. CW xxx, 96 ff, xxxii, 116 ff, xlv, 148 ff, RCHM 180–1), Alone 4 AntIt, Alione c. 425 NotDig, a Brit name corresponding to the r.n. Aln (Nb), Alne (Wa) and the p.n. Alne (YN 21), on which v. Ekwall, RN 7–9.
