Eastwick (lost), on Eastwic c. 1030 YCh 7, Estuuic , Estuinc 1086 DB.'East farm', v. ēast , wīc . The exact location is not known, but is presumed, from the name and because Newby itself is not mentioned in DB, to lie east of Westwick 175infra across the R. Ure.
