Shrubs Hill is Sorbeshull 1225 ClR and Shrubs Hill 1607Norden and may be identical with the place called shrubbeshedde 675 (13th) BCS 34. The shrubs from which the hill took its name are mentioned immediately after, when the road goes between þe shrubbes (BCS 34).
