John atte Weye 1327 SR, Robert de la Weye 1332 ib, pratum nuper in tenur ' Thorne Way 1545Weld 1, Hugh Wey (e )1569Ct (Bradpole), 1664 HTax, Henry Waye 1600AD , Henry Wey 1664 HTax, and v. Way Fm infra which lies within Waytown.
