Riddens Fm is Readons 1589 SAC 42, 44, Riddens 1646 SRS 14, 186. In 1398 (Ct ) John atte Rudene (1400 atte Redene (Ct )) held land here called Spyndelrudene . For the second element v. Reeding's infra 350. Possibly called spyndel from its shape.
