Holmsted Place is Olmestede 1398Ct (p), (H )almestede 1491Banco , Holmsted 1557 SAC 43, 9, 1616 SRS 14, 42, Homsted , Homestead 1604, 1606 ParReg, Holmsted hammer 1617 SAC 58, 16, and gave name to William Holmstede (1379SR ).
