Etymology
Green Street (6″) is the name of the area which was once called Northwick (v. infra 432). The present road (Green Street Road, 1900) led to Green Street Drove (1636CplM ), which is called Grene Strete in 1290 (CplM ). It led from Ocklynge to Northwick (1624Ct ).
