Etymology

Admonshill (lost), Edmundeshull (a )1089–1100Tewk 70, 1100–35 ib 71, 71d, 1108 AD i, Edmundeshella Hy 1 (1300) Ch, Radmundessella (sic)1100–35 (1496) Pat, Admonshill 1539AOMB , Edmundeshull 1575TRMB . 'Edmund's hill', from OE  Ēadmund and hyll ; its site is not known, but it seems to have been near Walton Cardiff.
