Etymology

Tickeridge (6″) is Tickeridge 1592 SRS 14, 16, and gave name to Simon de Tegheregg (1296 SR), John de Tegherugge (1327 SR) of Horsted Keynes, and Richard de Thegheregge (1332 SR).This is probably from OE  teag and hrycg, hence, 'ridge of land with a tye on it.'
