Etymology

Pickeridge is Pyckerage 1565 SRS 3, 26 and probably gave name to both Richard de Pigerithe (1327 SR) and John atte Pygherygg ' (1332 SR). Probably 'pig-ridge,' v. hrycg . In that case the rithe is an error of transcription for riche .
