Etymology
Bushetts (6″) is called Busheppes in 1581 (Shillinglee Papers ). If the form is correct we have the common Early Modem English busshop for bishop and the name probably comes from some family of the name Bishop , perhaps that of John Bissop of Ebernoe (1296 SR).
