Lattersey Field (6″), Lattersey Hill. Cf. Latereshale 1285Ct , 1322Thorney , campo Latereshale 1398Rental , Latersale 1328Ct , Latesaleffeld , Latersalde 1446 ib., Lottersey Feild 1603Survey , Lattersal feild 1636 BedL.The first element is probably a personal name derived from lǣtere in OE  blōd -lǣtere , 'blood-letter,' v. healh .
