Felcourt is Feldecote 1403 IpmR, Felcot 1535 VE, Felcorte 1596 SrWills, Felcot (e )1749 B, 1777 A and D. 'cot(e) in the open cleared space,' v. feld . The modern spelling may have been influenced by Hedgecourt near by. Cf. also Badge Court (PN Wo 312).
