Etymology

Wangeyhall Fm (6″), Wangey Ho (6″) is Wanghou 1254Ass , Wangeo 1486–93 ECP, Wang (e )y (hall )1542 M, 1551 Pat, Wayngeyhall t. Hy 8LRMB . The forms are too late for any satisfactory etymology to be suggested beyond noting that the second element is clearly OE  hoh, 'hill.'
