Gill Brook Basin (100–305902), an inlet in the docks, at the mouth of a lost stream shown 1824Lawton running in a valley 100–298896 to 305902, from near Toad Hole Fm under Flaybrick Hill down to Wallasey Pool, cf. the Gill Field 1645 Sheaf, Gill Field 1838TA , and Gill Brook Plantation , Big Gill Field & Little Gill Field , Gill Field Meadow & Gill Field Moss 1824Lawton , 'brook & field at a dell', v. gil , brōc , feld , mos .Gill Brook is now the name of a housing estate (J.E.A.).
