Parish in the County of West Riding of Yorkshire

Etymology

Formerly High Harrogate was included in Bilton township and Low Harrogate in Pannal township (116infra ). Harrogate is now a municipal borough and has taken in Bilton and Pannal. Knaresborough is now an urban district, and Knaresborough Outer a separate civil parish formed out of Knaresborough.
