Fulfords Fm is Fulford (1357 SAC 53), Fuleford , Fulword (1578 BM), Fulfords (1624 SAC 40, 127). 'Muddy ford,' v. ful . There is no stream here. Possibly the reference is to the ford half-a-mile to the north-east at Broadbridge. The land is muddy and low-lying.
