Etymology

Prawls Fm (6″) is Pralle 's Tenement in 1621 Battle 15 and takes its name from the family of Pralle (1276 Pens, 1296, 1332 SR). In 1280 (Pat) we have mention of the court of Pralle at Ewhurst. No suggestion can be made for this difficult name.
