Chiswell's Fm. No early forms for this name have been noted.In 1285 (CplM ), 1296, 1327, 1332 (SR) we have mention here of a family name Chyselbergh . Possibly the beorg of that name was the small circular hill by Chiswell's Farm and the first element in each name may be OE ceosol1.
