Outrake (6″), Outrake Hy 3, 1362BelCh . 'Way to the outer fields or open land', v. ūt , rake ; cf. dial. outrake 'free passage for sheep from enclosed pastures into open ground' (EDD). This p.n. would appear to be the first example of the compound so far noted; cf. Outrake Ho infra 141.
