Etymology
Flookersbrook, a hamlet in Newton, cf. 146infra , and partly in Hoole, named from Flooker's Brook 124 which also gave name to Brook Cottage & Brook Lodge 1831 Bry, the former on Hoole Rd infra near Ashby Place, the latter lost under the General Railway Station, Chester, which stands over the old course of the stream.
