East and West Ardsley

Etymology
East and West Ardsley were originally separate townships, East Ardsley being also an ecclesiastical parish, and West Ardsley being in the parish of Woodkirk (176infra ). The two townships are now in the Municipal Borough of Morley (182infra ).
