The Nook (6″). Mr Ray suggests that this may be identical with Hotherknok (1246 FF), Hothernok (1247 SAC 58, 185), Hotherinock (1247 FF), Hothknocke (17thCt ). Cf. Knockbridge supra . No explanation of the first element can be offered.
