Etymology

Himley Fm. Cf. Imbelow (e )c. 1325 Kennett. The first element might be hymele , the plant-name found in Himbleton (PN Wo 135), cf. supra 5. imbe , 'swarm of bees,' is also possible. Second element hlāw . The nearest surviving tumulus is over a mile away.
