Etymology

The Terrets. Cf. the Terrett close , Terett piece c. 1840TA .EDD records from Halliwell an obsolete Warwickshire territ , 'clump of trees.' This may be the word in use here. Similarly we have field-names Terretts in Hatton and Territ in Beausale.
