Etymology

Kingswood is Kyngeswod 1334, 1488 Ipm, Kynkeswoode 1419 AD iii, Kinswood brooke 1586 AD v. Self-explanatory, but the exact royal owner is not known. Lapworth already belonged to Worcester before the time of Cnut.
