Four Gotes is the Four gotes 1570 Imb, Le Quatuor Goates 1597Wisbech Map , Four Gouts c. 1825 O.S.v. gote . This was the meeting- place of “the four gotes of Wisebeche, Leverington, Newton and Tyd S Giles” (1438 Imb), i.e. of Wisbech Drain, Leverington High Lode, Newton Lode and Tydd Drain.
