Renhurst is Rendherst 1439Ct , Rendhurst 1823 G, and is perhaps to be associated with the family of Aylward de Ryngeherst (1288Ass ). The last form is probably corrupt and the name is to be interpreted in the same way as Roundhurst supra 112.
