Reeding's Fm (6″) is the Rydden 1546FM , le Reden 1564DuLa , le Riddens 1605 SRS 14, 536, Reddyns 1613FM and is to be associated with the family of John atte Rededenn (1296 SR), i.e. 'at the cleared woodland pasture,' v. ridde (OE  geryd ), denn and Riddens supra 265.
