Etymology

Fullbrook Fm is Fowelesbrok 1257, Fughelesbrok 1288Rental (p), Fogʒelesbrok , Fuʒlesbroch 1294Ass (p), Foghelesbrok 1307Rental (p), Fulbrook t. Jas 1MinAcct . The first element is the OE  fugol , 'bird,' here perhaps used as a personal name. Cf. Fowlbrook Wood (PN Sx 519) and Fousill Wood (PN Nth 20).
