Etymology

Ninehams Ho (6″) is le Nynnom '1547, Nynoms 1578Ct , Nynomes 1581Rental , Nynhams al. Inholme 1699Ct . The name would seem to be identical in origin with Inholms Fm supra 272, the initial consonant being due perhaps to a ME  atten innome (cf. Nower supra 77).
