Wood Green is Wodegrene 1502Ct , Woodgreene 1611 PCC.It was a hamlet at the edge of Enfield Chase. Now a separate borough. Cf. also Wodlee in Totenham 13th AD ii, Wodelegh 1383 IpmR which may have been near by. v. leah .
