Wildmarsh is Wildemers late 12th BM, Wildemerssh t. Ed 3Rental , Wildemerssh bregge 1410 Cl, Tottenham Wilde Marshe 1571 Sess. Wild must here have the sense of 'waste, uncultivated,' etc. Cf. Wild Brooks (PN Sx 147).
