Bury Street is Berystreate t. Hy 8MinAcct , Burye streete 1593 N. Bury is manorial (v. burh and Introd. xvi) with reference to the manor house of Edmonton. Street here means 'hamlet, row of houses,' as in other Middlesex names, v. infra 204.
