Woodoaks Fm is Wodewikeshide t. Hy 6Arundel , Woodwicks in Rickmansworth 1533–8 ECP and is to be associated with the family of Richard de Wodewik (1255Ass ) and John de Wodewyk (1259FF ). It is difficult to say if this name is local or manorial in origin. v. hid infra 245.
