Lee (lost), Lega 1086 DB, la Lee 1234, 1240 Mrk, 1313 Ch, 1510 BrCh, Lay 1256 Pat, Lee in salso marisco 1438FF . v. lēah 'clearing'.The location of Lee is not known; at the DB inquest it was in Letberg Hundred (v. 126supra ); it is included here as being in Saltmarsh (127 supra ), but it might have been in the adjacent part of Almondsbury (cf. Mrk xxx).
