Etymology
Birchell's Fm (6″) is an error for Birchett 's , the latter being the form on the original 6″ map. It is near Burkitt's in Dedham infra 386 and is Burchett (e )s alias Burches 1578Ct , which was probably the home of William and John atte Byrchet (1327SR ).
