Warstock is Le Horestok (in the confines of the counties of Worcestershire and Warwickshire) 1331 Misc, Whorestocke 1567BirmDeed , Harstock Corner c. 1840TA . The name must have referred to some stump or post used as a boundary mark, v. har , stocc . Cf. PN Wo 35.
