Townhouse Fm is Tounehouse in 16th (Bodl 309) and is probably to be associated with the families of Jul' atte Tune (1296 SR) and Gilbert de la Toune (1301Bodl 181). The same site must be referred to in Tounlond , Tounyngeslond (1337Bodl 185–6), tenement ' atte Toune (1353 SRS 31, 68). v. tun infra 553.
