Castiard (232infra ) ; Chestnuts Hill and Inclosure are a mile south - west of Flaxley Abbey , to which Roger , Earl of Hereford , had granted all the tithes of chestnuts in Dean (VCH ii,94) ; for inclosure cf. Birch Wood (supra ) .
