William Frome of Woodlands e14 , Reginald de Frome 1333 Hutch3 3151 , Edward Frome of Frome (who purchased 3 messuages in Frome and Woodlands) 1400 Hutch3 3151 , John Frome 1405 Hutch3 3151 . The Frome from which the family took its name was probably one of the Do Fromes , e.g. Frome Billet 1243 , Frome St Q . par . or Frome V . par . both infra .
