, stychelond lyinge under Tokynghyll '1506Winch , Token Hills 1838TA , probably ' hill where cloth was fulled and stretched ' , from eModE  tokyng ; the coppice lies on the E slope of the valley at the head of which the hamlet of Plush is situated , and close to the pool ( at ST 712009 ) which may have given Plush its name , v. 3245 .
