Etymology

Gold Bridge and Goldbridge Fm is Goldebreg ' (1287CplM ), Goldebrigge (1332 FF) and gave name to Matilda de Goldebregg (1296 SR). It is apparently found also in (Flechyng juxta ) Goldburgh (1360Ass ) with confusion of final element as in Rumbridge supra 89. For the interpretation, v. Goldbridge supra 275.
