Pig Bush Fm (1839TA ) is Pykbushe 1558, le Pykebushe 1559, Pygbushe 1560Ct , Pygbush 1725Rental . This is perhaps a name of ME origin, referring to some bush or shrub with sharp points or spikes. Pigbush Fm (PN Sx 136) may be identical in origin, but no form earlier than Pigbush (1640) has been noted.
