Etymology

'Wulfgār's farmstead', v. tūn . The DB T - is presumably an error. Cf. æt wulfgares more 993 (11th) WSL Deed (printed Sawyer 1979 no. 26, dated 996 there) (Sawyer 879) in the bounds of Bedintun (v. Pillaton supra ), which may refer to the same Wulfgār .
