Labden's Fm. Cf. Lapdenbrigge 1389 Pat, Labbeden bridge c. 1400 ECP, Labden Hill 1644 Sess, Labingdens in Standon 1655Deeds Enrolled . The second element is denu , the s being clearly pseudo-manorial. The forms are too late for any interpretation of the first element to be suggested.
