Etymology

'Cottage associated with Cylla', v. -ing 4 , cot . The OE  pers.n. *Cylla is established by such p.ns. as Kelling (Nf), Nunkeeling (YE 79), etc. (cf. Karlström 46), and Kilcot (176infra ).
