The Marsh (lost), Marthe (sic for Marche )1305 Pat, Marche 1305 Orig, Mars 1307 Ipm, 1322Ext , Fineet freq to 1533MinAcct , le Marsshe 1535 VE. v. mersc 'marsh'. The location is not known, but it is associated with Falfield and Thornbury (cf. BG xvii, 157, 1347 Ipm).
