Ryeham Fields (lost), Reham 12 HMC 5, Ryeham 1516MinAcct , Rieham 1575TRMB , Riam-meade , Ryam-meade , Ryam-field c. 1580LRMB , 1640 InqM. 'Water-meadow where rye was grown', v. ryge , hamm . The 1830 M shows it at the south end of Newport.
